Foreword 

Greetings from Swabodhini!

The month of June saw our beloved students return to school with great enthusiasm and vigour after the summer break. The new academic year began with teachers welcoming the students with creative games and fun activities.

We are delighted to announce the commencement of our 4th centre at Selaiyur to cater to the needs of special children in and around Tambaram. The Rotary Club of Madras Boys Town Society has generously provided us space to run the centre.

Our children at all four centres celebrated “International Yoga Day” and “Helen Keller Day” with a variety of interesting activities.

Ms Anju Mary, Director – Industry Affairs and Branding of Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd visited our Velachery centre and interacted with the students. Ms Lakshika Jain from Acqueon Technologies visited our Thiruvanmiyur centre. Thrilled by our students’ activities, she has promised volunteering from their employees for our Sports Day this year

The birthdays of staff and students for the months of May and June were celebrated in all four centres.

Back to School

Pooja at Selaiyur Centre

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On June 19th, we had a small pooja to commemorate the opening of our fourth centre in Selaiyur, which was supported by the Rotary Club of Madras. Helen Keller Day
